Suddenly i miss going to the night market. Must be because of Sue keep saying wanan go night market. LOL. The penang night market scene is quite intersting. The sights , sounds and even smell of the night market is really one of a kind in Malaysia. The aroma of murtabak or burgers in the air, with traders negotiating their prices over the stary dark sky bringing together a collection of stalls that usually sell goods such as fruit, vegetables, snacks, toys, clothes, movie discs and ornaments at cheap or at least reasonable prices. A pasar malam often takes place only one to a few days of the week, as the traders rotate around different neighbourhoods on different days of the week.
I really enjoy being in a night market, especially the one on tuesday nights near my college. Its near my place and it sells the best murtabak i ever had. The lekor there is also very fresh and you can really taste the fish in it. Normally after a walk around the market, i would just stop by for drinks in the coffeeshops nearby, usually for dinner. Even thinking about it makes me sooo hungry now..
